On 6 October 2026, the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), in collaboration with Amret Microfinance Institution Plc. (AMRET) and the Institute for Banking Studies (IBF), organized an Industry Exposure Tour to provide students with practical insights into Cambodiaโs banking and microfinance sector.

The study visit enabled students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world experience through an in-depth presentation, exploration of different operational departments, insights into career opportunities, and an overview of the institutionโs internal audit workflow.
During the visit, Mr. Vatanak Chhorn, Secretary General of CMA, highlighted that the banking and microfinance sector offers diverse career opportunities beyond traditional banking and finance roles, while emphasizing the importance of developing professional knowledge and skills from an early stage.

CMA remains committed to supporting youth development and human capital development by connecting students with practical industry experience and helping them better understand career opportunities in the banking and financial sector.
