During the closing session, Mr. Sok Voeun, CMA Chairman, highlighted CREFA's positive contributions and key achievements in strengthening climate resilience. He noted that, in Q2 2026, project-member institutions had disbursed approximately USD 39 million in green loans, reaching around 30,000 customers and their families across Cambodia. This progress demonstrates the growing engagement of the microfinance sector in promoting green finance and supporting climate resilience.

Through CREFA, CMA will continue working with development partners, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders to provide capacity building, technical knowledge, and practical tools that support the development and implementation of green finance solutions, strengthen the resilience of Cambodiaโs financial sector, and promote a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial system. ๐ฑ
