Social Media Internship
CMA Overview:
Cambodia
Microfinance Association (CMA) is a non-profit, membership-based organization
established in 2004 to ensure the prosperity and sustainability of the
microfinance sector in Cambodia. CMA is recognized by National Bank of Cambodia
and is part of the Association of Banks in Cambodia. Currently, CMA has more
than 100 members operating in 25 provinces and serving more than 2 million
households.

The Communication
Department of the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA) is dedicated to
amplifying the voice of microfinance in Cambodia, fostering positive public
perception, and promoting the sector's vital role in economic development and
financial inclusion. We strive to build strong relationships with key
stakeholders, including the public, media, government, donors, and member
institutions, through strategic and impactful communication initiatives.
Position Objective:
The Social Media
Intern supports the Communication team in managing CMA’s social media
platforms. This role focuses on assisting with content creation, basic
analytics tracking, and daily engagement activities while gaining hands-on
experience in digital communication and social media management.
Key
Responsibilities:
· Assist in
creating engaging content (captions, visuals, short videos)
· Support
basic design and video editing
· Help draft
captions in Khmer and/or English
· Assist with
content scheduling across platforms
· Monitor
comments and support audience engagement
· Help track
performance and prepare simple reports
· Support
campaign promotion and event coverage
· Ensure
content follows CMA branding and tone
· Stay
updated on trends and suggest creative ideas
Requirement:
· Currently
studying or recently graduated in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related
field
· Basic
knowledge of social media platforms
· Basic
skills in Canva, CapCut, or similar tools (preferred)
· Good
writing skills (Khmer and/or English)
· Creative,
proactive, and willing to learn
