Internship Opportunities (Finance Intern)
The Cambodia Microfinance
Association (CMA) is a non-profit industry association that represents licensed
microfinance institutions and related stakeholders in Cambodia. CMA works to
promote responsible financial services, strengthen the capacity of its members,
and support the sustainable development of the microfinance sector. The
association collaborates with regulators, development partners, and financial
institutions to improve standards in governance, compliance, operations, human
resources, and customer protection across the industry.

Assist in preparing invoices and accounting journals
as assigned by management.
·
Record and update all income and expense transactions
as directed by management.
·
Complete daily tasks promptly to ensure that all
transactions are recorded on the same day, reducing the risk of fraud through
irregular or undocumented entries.

Maintain accounting documents properly, including
those generated daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually,
as assigned by management.
·
File invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
accurately.
·
Participate in resolving issues related to financial
matters.
·
Support the finance team with administrative and
accounting tasks as required.
·
Assist in communicating with relevant parties to
provide information or collect data as directed by the management.
·
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
·
Currently enrolled in at least Year 4 of a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·
Basic understanding of accounting principles and
financial management.
·
Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
and Word.
·
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
·
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Selected
interns will receive a monthly allowance of USD 150 to support their internship
experience.
